Airi Point of View

“I should buy a super delicious bread then calm myself now” I said to myself while walking in the corridor. Then I hear someone’s voice who’s chasing after me.
“Ai-chan” Saki called, she looks almost out of breath
“Saki?”
“how can you leave me alone, I’m looking for you for the entire school”
“oh—really?” I try to make sure
“not really, actually I know where’ll you go Ai”
“huh?—you’re my real friend then” I rolled my eyes
“hahaha, then what’ll you do about the contest before?”
“you watch?” I asked surprisingly
“hehehe, I never miss every single show that you have attended Ai-chan” saki reply proudly
“argh—how can I lost saki” I started crying
“eh? Wait! Calm down Ai, no matter what happened you’re still cute” Saki try to cheer me up

“I think I should buy something to drink to refresh my mind”
“yeah—you should” Saki feel relieved
“but, ugh—he must be a girl but pretend to be a boy and…”

                 I start to think too much again and before I finished my line...
Bugh! I suddenly bumped into someone and hear such a familiar voice

“I’m a guy no matter how you look at it”

                Seeing the person who’s talking in front of me now makes me stunned for a while then I shout

“Ryosuke? What are you doing here?”
“this is my school” he answer while smiling at me
“then—you’re my senior?”
“I think so and my class is beside your class Ai-chan” he point at his class
“shinjirarenai—eh? You still remember me? And how did you know my class?” I asked
“of course I remember” he answer nicely
“how come?” I can’t stop to ask him what’s in my mind now
“how can I forget about a girl who lost from me in the beauty contest at 31 of August 2011. She looks surprisingly shock knowing the result. And she suddenly look at the mirror so many times asking what’s wrong with her face and…”
“shut up! Are you try making fun of me?” I lost my patient cause he can’t stop talking about everything that I don’t want to remember
“no, I’m not, it was the fact right, Ai-chan?” he teased
 “you—I think you’re nice in the first place but I’m wrong”
“eh?”
“absolutely wrong, you’re a super annoying guy, get the hell of my way”
“why are you so upset Ai-chan” he pretend as if he haven’t do nothing
“go away! And don’t call my nickname again or I’ll kick you”
“you can kick me as you wish”
“huh? Bye..Bye senpai” I try not to get involved with him any further before I act like crazy

                *Gah—he is usper annoyed and why he act as if he can do anything and then the way he’s talking about, every words that came out from those mouth, and.. and..and*my mind Is flooding with so many unnecessary thing that just happened before. Saki, who’s seeing me acting super weird all the time start to talk to me nicely.

“Ai-chan, I think you already decided to calm down and forget about it before”
“yeah, I intend to that before I meet such a troublesome guy like him, so now I can’s calm myself down, he is so pissed me off”
“but, everyone in this class look at us Ai”
“eh? Oh—etto—I’m sorry” I said feel really embarrassed, looking down to the ground

                I walk to home by myself, and start to talking to myself in my mind *Huwaa—just meeting with him for a few minutes already ruin my day that much.  Just look at it Ryosuke, I’ll definitely take a revenge, I’ll defeat you later. Just wait for it* then I smirked

Tomorrow morning at School

“ohayou Ryosuke, ohayou Yuto” Chinen greet
“oh! Ohayou” Ryosuke and Yuto greet back
“by the way Chinen, what are you doing yesterday? I didn’t see you that much” Ryosuke asked
“I have a practice with my father”
“mm.. how about you Yuto?” he also asked yuto
“I have a meeting in student council, sorry I didn’t come back home with you yesterday”
“ah—it’s ok”
“why are you searching for us? Is there anything happened?” Yuto asked
“not really, i…” Ryosuke stunned before he finished his words seeing airi in front of his class
“Ai-chan, ohayou” Yuto suddenly greet her
“ohayou Yuto” Airi smiled
“both of you know each other?” Ryosuke surprised
“yeah—our mom is friend since junior high”
“oh! What a coincidence” Ryosuke rolled his eyes
“am I the one who’s getting ignore here?” chinen start to talk
“eh! It’s not like that chinen-kun”Airi reply nicely
“how did you know my name?”
“of course I know cause I admire you” Airi smiled
“that’s mean you come here to meet me?”Chinen asked sound really excited
“umm.. this time not, I have some matter with this guy” Airi point at Ryosuke
“eekkhh—“ Yuto and Chinen kinda surprised
“huh? Did you already miss me that much so you come to my class now?” Ryosuke start to tease
“no!!” Airi suddenly answer
“then, did you already fall for me?” Ryosuke ignore Airi statement before
“the hell!, just read this” Airi handed a letter to Ryosuke
“ah! A love letter?” Ryosuke smiled
“impossible—I won’t do it, you know!” Airi crossed her arm
“so?”
“just read this, I can’t explain, class will start soon”
“ha?”
“then, bye bye Yuto, Chinen” Airi smiled
“doesn’t she come here to meet you, but before, seems like she didn’t see you” Yuto whispered
“Yuto!” Ryosuke stared at him

                Airi keeps lying in her bed, then she stand up to the living room, turn off the light and then insert a video while turn on the TV. She sits in the floor silently, still keep her eyes focus at the TV, suddenly she yelled

“it’s suck, how can the cutest Airi Suzuki lose to those childish guy” she praised herself
“what’s wrong with my face, huh?” she mumbled while look at the mirror after turn on the light.

Ryosuke Point of View

                I keep reading a bunch of somic in my room. Then my cellphone is ringing

“Yuto?” I pick up the cellphone
“yes, hey boy, you make me laugh so hard” Yuto answer excitedly
“why? I don’t get it”
“have you forget about it? Those beauty contest, I keep repeat it many times”
“dude, you should shut your mouth up or I’ll kill you!” I reply sound rather annoyed
“but, you do really pretty there”
“hey, stop!!” I yelled
“oh, it’s okay, but I think the one who’s getting stressed and depressed now is Ai-chan”
“who’s her?” I ask sound a bit confused
“whoa—double shock, Ryosuke she’s the cutest girl who have lost to you in that show, how can you forget such a cute girl like her?”
“like I care” I rolled my eyes
“as cold as ice like always whenever I’m talking about girl, are you a gay? Then I think I should stay awa..”
“I’ll kill you for sure Yuto” I suddenly cut Yuto’s line
“hahaha, it’s so funny to tease you, dear” Yuto answer trying not to laugh
“dear? I think you’re the one who’s gay here” I roled my eyes again
“hey, that’s my words! Ah—I should go, my mom asked me to buy something, bye dear”
“dear again? Ok, bye—it’s better for you to go before I become impatient”

           I lying in my bed while flooding my mind with some of Yuto’s weird words.

“it’s not like I don’t care about girls” I mumbled
“I just don’t care if she’s the cutest, the prettiest or whatever. I’m searching for a girl who’s cheerful enough to colour my boring life around nine weird guys” I keep silent for a while
“though there are all not that weird” then I smiled

                I keep talking to myself. Thinking back about what happened in those show, then I smiled

“I remember something that so funny, about her expression after lost” I started laugh
“she was like ‘don’t believe it’, hey! She’s kinda interesting, mm.. Ai-chan huh? I think we’ll meet again”

In School After Opening Ceremony

          Airi enter her class, still looks so depressed. Then Saki (Airi best friend from Junior high school) come closer to her.

“morning Ai-chan” Saki greet
“ oh— morning” Airi answer sound really flat
“Ai, I think you should…”

                Before saki finished her words the bell is ringing then their new class in Senior high school started. The student pay so much attention to their first class.

“okay, that’s enough for now” the teacher said while the bell end of class is ringing

As the special baseball supporter, KAT-TUN’s Kazuya Kamenashi gives a fan’s point-of-view of baseball during Nihon TV’s Tokyo Giants matches, “Dramatic Game 1844″.  But the man at the centre of attention laughs it off.
“After I started this job (in the entertainment industry), now I can’t go outside without wearing sunglasses.  I wonder why, it’s not like people have caught me and I’ve been in danger many times,” he said.
He explained things to us a bit more.
“I think it’s probably because at work I want to be seen as much as anyone else, but I don’t want people to see what I look like from day to day.  I hardly go to places like parties and clubs where there are lots of people and I try to avoid meeting people who can’t be honest with me.  These days so many celebrities have blogs or they’re on twitter.  They use words and photos to talk about what they’re doing every day in detail, but I don’t get it.
“I think that if someone working in the entertainment industry talks too much about what they do in their private life, isn’t that like a magician telling people how their trick works before they do it? (laughs)  Having said that, I don’t think anyone’s lying.  I don’t think they’re deliberately trying to keep a secret or creating their own character.
“To put it simply, I’m happy to talk about my views on relationships, but I wouldn’t talk about the relationships I’ve been in up to now.  I don’t think I need to talk about it.  But I don’t have any clear lines drawn between what I can and can’t talk about because sometimes I think it’s important to talk about your own experience when you want to get a real message across.”
Kamenashi-san went on to talk about the time he thought, “what’s my secret?”.  He said during a run at night to Tokyo Tower, he had looked up to see the moon covered up by clouds.

“There’s something beautiful about how it’s hidden.  Maybe people and clouds are beautiful because you can’t see everything,” he said.

Hey! Say! JUMP and Kansai Johnny’s Jr. perform together in two different cities

  

Hey! Say! JUMP’s concert in Yokohama was video linked to Kansai Johnny’s Jr.’s concert in Osaka as the two groups performed together on May 5, reports Nikkan Sports, Daily Sports Online, and web The Television.

“I’m getting goosebumps knowing that we’ve got twice as many fans here today!!,” said Hikaru Yaotome.

The video link between the Yokohama Arena and Osaka-jo Hall meant the east and west talents could perform “世界がひとつになるまで (Sekai ga Hitotsu ni naru made)” together and allowed NYC members Ryosuke Yamada (17), Yuri Chinen (17), and Yuma Nakayama (17) to perform their songs together.

It has been reported the latest fibre-optics technology had been used to link the east and west cities together in order to reduce the time lag between video and audio feeds as much as possible. A representative from Johnny’s & Associates had said this technology is used in TV these days, but it is the first time it has been used for a concert in Japan.

It was also a double surprise for upcoming birthday boy Yamada. The talent turns 18 on May 9, and to celebrate, the 15,000 fans in Yokohama and 15,000 fans in Osaka all sang Happy Birthday for him.

“I said I would get taller and cooler when I was 18 but I haven’t been able to so…can I delay this until I’m 30?” Yamada said.

While the other members teased him he wouldn’t grow any taller, Yamada said, “don’t you know that men keep growing until they’re 25!!”

During the concert Hey! Say! JUMP’s Kota Yabu reminded people about another upcoming celebration, Mother’s Day.

“We always go in groups to the florist to buy carnations because we’re all embarrassed to go alone…,” he said.

Yesterday’s concert was a surprise for fans, who got see 200 Johnny’s talents and Johnny’s Jr. talents in one concert including Hey! Say! JUMP concert guests Yuta Tamamori (Kis-My-Ft2), and Kansai Johnny’s Jr. concert guests Hiroki Uchi, Taisuke Fujigaya (Kis-My-Ft2), and Hiromitsu Kitayama (Kis-My-Ft2).

Another story that unfolded during the concert was when it was revealed professional baseball player Yuki Saito uses NYC’s “勇気100% (Yuki 100%)” as his entrance song during matches, much to the delight of NYC members.

“I heard about this during school when my mum text me, I was so surprised. It makes me feel confident,” Yamada said.

“Being in the same generation, I hope we can get everyone’s spirits up as well,” Chinen said.

“As a baseball fan I am so happy,” Nakayama said.

As part of the Marching J project, it has been reported 40 per cent of electricity was saved during the Hey! Say! JUMP concert.

Ikuta Toma, Yoshitaka Yuriko star in 2-part movie adaptation of “Bokura ga Ita”

The live-action adaptation of Obata Yuki’s popular shoujo manga “Bokura ga Ita” (“We Were There”) had its cast revealed today. Ikuta Toma (26) and Yoshitaka Yuriko (22) will co-star in the project, which is being split into two films directed by Miki Takahiro (“Solanin”).

The manga, which started in 2002, has so far been collected into 14 volumes that have sold more than 10 million copies combined. The story follows the romance of its two main characters over a span of 10 years, from high school to their mid-20s. Ikuta plays the super popular Yano Motoharu, whose girlfriend was killed in a car accident. Yoshitaka plays Takahashi Nanami, who falls in love with Yano but struggles with his inability to let go of the past.

Takaoka Sousuke and Motokariya Yuika have been cast as Yano’s close friend Take and Nanami’s classmate Yuri, respectively.

Filming starts this month and ends in July, with locations in Hokkaido and Tokyo. Asmik Ace will release both of the movies in the spring of 2012, and in an unprecedented move, the second one is planned for release just a month after the first one.

Jin Akanishi to collaborate with Jason Derulo for first U.S. single

Jin Akanishi to collaborate with Jason Derulo for first U.S. single

Before his concert on Sunday, Jin Akanishi held a press conference to talk about his upcoming U.S. plans. He announced that his debut U.S. single will be a collaboration with singer-songwriter Jason Derulo, produced by J. R. Rotem.

Akanishi said that he plans to release a full album this fall, and one of the songs will be a collaboration written by Derulo. The song is still being worked on, but he indicated that it would be a pop tune.

Derulo debuted in 2009 with the hit song "Whatcha Say," which was also produced by Rotem. Rotem also produced his later songs, such as "In My Head" and "Ridin' Solo."

Besides the news of his single, Akanishi announced that he will release a DVD of his current tour on May 4, titled "Yellow Gold Tour 3011."

Intreview: Tomohisa Yamashita 360 degree all around Q&A 

Tomohisa Yamashita’s new single “はだかんぼー (Hadakanbo)” has been released!! With such a big-impact title, we decided to throw 50 questions at Yamapi to bare more about himself.

Q1. Tell us about your new single “Hadkanbo”!

A. We’re seeing gloomy times right now so I hope lots of people, not only businessmen, but also women and the old and young can sing this song. Please sing it at karaoke or at parties. Go with the flow, it’s not that hard, and sing it to let out all kinds of stress! But just a warning, there are lots of “脱いで脱いで(take it off, take it off)” repeats, but please try to keep it to throwing things off your heart (laughs). I’ll leave that to your mature judgement, thank you! I went into the recording with a bare heart (laughs).

Q2. What did you do yesterday?

A. I went out for drinks with Kazuya Kamenashi after we finished worked together. Along with a number of big stars who invited us out. We were able to spend time with a lot of our seniors. Actually…it was more like we invited ourselves (laughs). It was so fun!

Q3. In general, what do you do on your days off?

A. In general, I don’t have days off. But if I did…I’d probably just go to the gym

Q4. What’s the one word that describes your personality?

A. Competitive!

Q5. “You may not know it, but I’m really ____” – fill in the space.

A. “not a morning person”. But I guess everyone already knows that (laughs). Then how about this? I may look boring but I’m actually a fun person. No, really, if you talk to me I’m actually quite funny.

A. “マジで (majide, seriously)”.

A. 27 cm.

A. 61 kg. But right now I’m 60 kg!

A. I literally can’t manage catching the same show all the time but I watch “お願い！ランキング (Onegai! Ranking)” show’s “美食アカデミー (Bishoku Academy)” sometimes.

A. It has to be “Ashita no Joe”. Since it’s that time…please! (laughs)

Q12. What song are you heavily rotating for recently?

A. That has to be…AKB48′s “Heavy Rotation” right (laughs).

Q13. First CD you ever bought was?

A. Seriously, it was “Midnight Shuffle” by Matchy (Masahiko Kondo) and “そばかす (Sobakasu)” by JUDY AND MARY.

Q14. What video game are you into these days?
A. Soccer’s “Winning Eleven”. But I haven’t had much time to play it lately…

Q15. What’s the last thing you bought that you liked a lot?

A. Ummm, lately I have not been shopping. It would have to be the time I bought some sushi to eat (laughs).

Q16. What’s your favourite onigiri flavour?

A. cod roe!

Q17. Where can you relax the most?

A. In my bed!

Q18. If you could go on a long holiday, where would you go?

A. Ummm, I want to go to the Maldives.

Q19. What’s your favourite colour?

A. I love all colours, they each have their own characteristics. But if I had to choose, then…white or black I guess.

Q20. What’s your favourite season?

A. Spring and summer!

Q21. What’s your favourite time of the day?

A. Anytime other than the morning. Between 7 and 8 in the morning, no, 9am, no, from about 7 to 10 in the morning I am really useless (laughs).

Q22. What’s the average number of hours you spend sleeping?

A. Lately it’s been about 5 to 6 hours.

Q23. What’s the first thing you do in the morning?

A. Uhhh, open my eyes! (laughs) Then, wash my face. Because it helps me wake up.

Q24. When you wash your body, where do you start?

A. I wash my neck first. Because it’s logical to wash yourself from top to bottom. I’ll start from the neck and make my way down.

Q25. What’s your charm point?

A. My hands! My hands are like, small and ugly. But that’s what I think makes them special (laughs).

Q26. What makes you think it’s good to be a guy?

A. I’ve never been a woman so I’m not really sure but I am glad to be a guy! I think. What if I were re-born? I’d still be a guy. I’m happy with being a guy. If I turned into a girl…it’d be kind of scary. There are so many things I don’t know about being a girl.

Q27. As a guy, what do you think makes a man cool?

A. Someone who’s fit and is nice to people. I’m nice to girls. I’m also nice to guys. Men have to be nice!

Q28. What can people do to become as cool as you?
A. How am I supposed to know (laughs). Can we skip this question! Just use all of your energy to stand up to the things that lie between you and your goals. I think that’s cool. I’m always giving 100 per cent at work. That’s all. Can we stop these questions, I’m getting embarrassed.

Q29. What kind of clothes do you wear in your home?

A. I stay in my normal clothes right until I go to sleep. I only go home to sleep anyway. It’s a hassle…When I sleep I’m either wearing a T-shirt and shorts, or pajamas. Something really normal.

Q30. What kind of a woman do you like?
A. Someone who is nice and has an amazing smile. Oh, and doesn’t get angry too often!

Q31. What do you like to drink?

A. Beer!

Q32. What do you always order at the izakaya?

A. Hiyayakko (cold tofu)! Even in the winter.

Q33. What happens to you when you’re drunk?

A. When I get drunk I get really happy and become really chatty!

Q34. When you were a student, what were your favourite and worst subjects?

A. Sports in the summer and chemistry in the winter. Because it’s too cold to do sports in the winter, right? Chemistry was fun when you could do the calculations and get the right answer.

Q35. What song do you sing every time you go to karaoke?

A. That has to be “青春アミーゴ (Seishun Amigo)”! My friends request it a lot.

Q36. Speaking of “Seishun Amigo”, could you tell us about your new album “SUPERGOOD, SUPERBAD”!

A. I recommend listening to the whole thing to begin with. There are songs covering a range of genres so have a listen. I love all of the songs on the album. I put 100 per cent of my effort into it so I feel like I deserve a ‘good job prize’ but that doesn’t mean to say that it’s perfect. But I put my feelings into it so I hope I’ve been able to convey that message to my fans. I’d be really happy if they do feel it!

Q37. Tell us about “TOMOHISA YAMASHITA WORLD TOUR 2011″!

A. I think it’s very flash and is high quality entertainment. We’ve made slight changes to the show in every country but I hope I can deliver something for the better to everyone. I’m going to study languages enough so that I can at least say my introduction in each country’s native language. Please look forward to it!

Q38. What’s the wallpaper on your mobile phone?

A. I…can’t tell you (laughs).

Q39. What’s your ringtone?

A. Ring ring ring. I’m not really fussy with that (laughs).

Q40. Do you make more calls or text messages?

A. Both! I call and text my guy friends. Not consistently though…

Q41. Do you have a large circle of friends who you’re not so close with? Or do you have a small circle of friends who you’re really close with?
A. A small circle of really close friends. Although I don’t have many people I’d call my best friend.

Q42. What was your dream when you were a boy?

A. I wanted to be an astronaut!

Q43. If you weren’t doing this job, what would you have been?

A. Astronaut or a NEET. They’re polar opposites aren’t they (laughs).

Q44. In your life so far, when did you switch jobs?
A. When I was 11. Definitely the time I joined Johnny’s.

A. So Joe is Tohru Rikiishi’s eternal rival, but I think it’s good that their rivals. They’re working towards the same goals, and even rivals can be friends at times. I hope people can feel a lot of different things while watching this. I want people to see how Joe takes life head on, no matter how many times he gets punched down, he never gives up. It shows you the importance of never giving up and how a person can get stronger knowing that they have someone special.

Tomohisa Yamashita’s new single “はだかんぼー (Hadakanbo)” has been released!! With such a big-impact title, we decided to throw 50 questions at Yamapi to bare more about himself.

Q1. Tell us about your new single “Hadkanbo”!

A. We’re seeing gloomy times right now so I hope lots of people, not only businessmen, but also women and the old and young can sing this song. Please sing it at karaoke or at parties. Go with the flow, it’s not that hard, and sing it to let out all kinds of stress! But just a warning, there are lots of “脱いで脱いで(take it off, take it off)” repeats, but please try to keep it to throwing things off your heart (laughs). I’ll leave that to your mature judgement, thank you! I went into the recording with a bare heart (laughs).

Q2. What did you do yesterday?

A. I went out for drinks with Kazuya Kamenashi after we finished worked together. Along with a number of big stars who invited us out. We were able to spend time with a lot of our seniors. Actually…it was more like we invited ourselves (laughs). It was so fun!

Q3. In general, what do you do on your days off?

A. In general, I don’t have days off. But if I did…I’d probably just go to the gym

Q4. What’s the one word that describes your personality?

A. Competitive!

Q5. “You may not know it, but I’m really ____” – fill in the space.

A. “not a morning person”. But I guess everyone already knows that (laughs). Then how about this? I may look boring but I’m actually a fun person. No, really, if you talk to me I’m actually quite funny.

A. “マジで (majide, seriously)”.

A. 27 cm.

A. 61 kg. But right now I’m 60 kg!

A. “ONEPIECE”

A. I literally can’t manage catching the same show all the time but I watch “お願い！ランキング (Onegai! Ranking)” show’s “美食アカデミー (Bishoku Academy)” sometimes.

Q11. What movie would you recommend?

A. It has to be “Ashita no Joe”. Since it’s that time…please! (laughs)

Q12. What song are you heavily rotating for recently?

A. That has to be…AKB48′s “Heavy Rotation” right (laughs).

Q13. First CD you ever bought was?

A. Seriously, it was “Midnight Shuffle” by Matchy (Masahiko Kondo) and “そばかす (Sobakasu)” by JUDY AND MARY.

Q14. What video game are you into these days?
A. Soccer’s “Winning Eleven”. But I haven’t had much time to play it lately…

Q15. What’s the last thing you bought that you liked a lot?

A. Ummm, lately I have not been shopping. It would have to be the time I bought some sushi to eat (laughs).

Q16. What’s your favourite onigiri flavour?

A. cod roe!

Q17. Where can you relax the most?

A. In my bed!

Q18. If you could go on a long holiday, where would you go?

A. Ummm, I want to go to the Maldives.

Q19. What’s your favourite colour?

A. I love all colours, they each have their own characteristics. But if I had to choose, then…white or black I guess.

Q20. What’s your favourite season?

A. Spring and summer!

Q21. What’s your favourite time of the day?

A. Anytime other than the morning. Between 7 and 8 in the morning, no, 9am, no, from about 7 to 10 in the morning I am really useless (laughs).

Q22. What’s the average number of hours you spend sleeping?

A. Lately it’s been about 5 to 6 hours.

Q23. What’s the first thing you do in the morning?

A. Uhhh, open my eyes! (laughs) Then, wash my face. Because it helps me wake up.

Q24. When you wash your body, where do you start?

A. I wash my neck first. Because it’s logical to wash yourself from top to bottom. I’ll start from the neck and make my way down.

Q25. What’s your charm point?

A. My hands! My hands are like, small and ugly. But that’s what I think makes them special (laughs).

Q26. What makes you think it’s good to be a guy?

A. I’ve never been a woman so I’m not really sure but I am glad to be a guy! I think. What if I were re-born? I’d still be a guy. I’m happy with being a guy. If I turned into a girl…it’d be kind of scary. There are so many things I don’t know about being a girl.

Q27. As a guy, what do you think makes a man cool?

A. Someone who’s fit and is nice to people. I’m nice to girls. I’m also nice to guys. Men have to be nice!

Q28. What can people do to become as cool as you?
A. How am I supposed to know (laughs). Can we skip this question! Just use all of your energy to stand up to the things that lie between you and your goals. I think that’s cool. I’m always giving 100 per cent at work. That’s all. Can we stop these questions, I’m getting embarrassed.

Q29. What kind of clothes do you wear in your home?

A. I stay in my normal clothes right until I go to sleep. I only go home to sleep anyway. It’s a hassle…When I sleep I’m either wearing a T-shirt and shorts, or pajamas. Something really normal.

Q30. What kind of a woman do you like?
A. Someone who is nice and has an amazing smile. Oh, and doesn’t get angry too often!

Q31. What do you like to drink?

A. Beer!

Q32. What do you always order at the izakaya?

A. Hiyayakko (cold tofu)! Even in the winter.

Q33. What happens to you when you’re drunk?

A. When I get drunk I get really happy and become really chatty!

Q34. When you were a student, what were your favourite and worst subjects?

A. Sports in the summer and chemistry in the winter. Because it’s too cold to do sports in the winter, right? Chemistry was fun when you could do the calculations and get the right answer.

Q35. What song do you sing every time you go to karaoke?

A. That has to be “青春アミーゴ (Seishun Amigo)”! My friends request it a lot.

Q36. Speaking of “Seishun Amigo”, could you tell us about your new album “SUPERGOOD, SUPERBAD”!

A. I recommend listening to the whole thing to begin with. There are songs covering a range of genres so have a listen. I love all of the songs on the album. I put 100 per cent of my effort into it so I feel like I deserve a ‘good job prize’ but that doesn’t mean to say that it’s perfect. But I put my feelings into it so I hope I’ve been able to convey that message to my fans. I’d be really happy if they do feel it!

Q37. Tell us about “TOMOHISA YAMASHITA WORLD TOUR 2011″!

A. I think it’s very flash and is high quality entertainment. We’ve made slight changes to the show in every country but I hope I can deliver something for the better to everyone. I’m going to study languages enough so that I can at least say my introduction in each country’s native language. Please look forward to it!

Q38. What’s the wallpaper on your mobile phone?

A. I…can’t tell you (laughs).

Q39. What’s your ringtone?

A. Ring ring ring. I’m not really fussy with that (laughs).

Q40. Do you make more calls or text messages?

A. Both! I call and text my guy friends. Not consistently though…

Q41. Do you have a large circle of friends who you’re not so close with? Or do you have a small circle of friends who you’re really close with?
A. A small circle of really close friends. Although I don’t have many people I’d call my best friend.

Q42. What was your dream when you were a boy?

A. I wanted to be an astronaut!

A. Astronaut or a NEET. They’re polar opposites aren’t they (laughs).

A. When I was 11. Definitely the time I joined Johnny’s.
