The annual countdown live hosted by Johnny’s Entertainment artists, “Johnny’s Countdown 2010-2011“, was held at the Tokyo Dome and partially broadcasted live by Fuji Television.The host of the concert this year was KinKi Kids, but many other JE artists attended as well. As we reported earlier, Arashi could not attend the concert physically, but they appeared via relay broadcast from NHK.

To the delight of Johnny’s fans, TV Asahi aired a special program titled, “Toshiwasure! Johnny’s Touzai Uta Gassen”, which featured footage taken from their concert, “Nenmatsu Young Touzai Uta Gassen! Touzai Jr. Senbatsudaishugo 2010!”. Held at NHK Hall, this November 27th concert allowed stars and even trainees from Johnny’s Entertainment to showcase their talents. Johnny Kitagawa, the president of JE, described the event as a “Kohaku Uta Gassen” for young stars.
